The artist speaks about her work:
My artwork is dedicated to my parents and my country Ethiopia; of its history, art and culture, its beauty, and the warmth of it's people. I am blessed with my own family and I have two wonderful children and enjoy my time with them.
My designs represent the long journey of my personal life in memory of my past, my home in Ethiopia and my dad including my daily life here in the UK. I have been painting since I could hold a pencil but my unique designs became my way of expression in the last 20 years. They relate to the daily joys and stresses of life and work.
I am also able to see the emotional colours in a person's speech and can simultaneously reproduce it in the artwork. I was delighted to find the scientific research on this subject explained by Richard E. Cytowic, MD in USA.
I love to see and hear the satisfaction and support the artwork has given others personally. Please read the comments and sharing these with you is a great pleasure.
I am grateful for the help and guidance others have shown me.
